Masjid Bilal Projects

The property was initially owned by Uniting Church. Uniting Church sold it to an individual and then RMS bought the property. AICC bought the property in auction on 11 June 2010 from RMS (previously known as RTA)

After acquiring the property and as the community usage increased, there was need to upgrade the facilities including internal realignment of individual rooms, washing area, etc.

Development Application was approved by Liverpool Council in October 2016. The followings renovations had been done to date:

Upstairs Prayer Area

• Removal of Old Rafters in the “A” framed section
• Removal of internal stairs
• Construction of 2 new stairs
• Upgrade of ladies section
• New toilet and wudhu area for ladies
• New carpets
• New Sound system
• Air conditioning
• Car park
• Landscaping
• Boundary Fence
• Upgrade of Male Toilet and kitchen area
• Work on Wilson Road (in front of the mosque)
